.: INSERT WELCOME GREETING HERE :.
+-------------------------------------+

Hello. You appear to have stumbled upon a site dedicated to my various acts of retrocomputing - the use of computer machines declared obsolete, or at the very least no longer in production. If you will look to your left, there should be a control panel listing the various machines of this nature in my care, in chronological order according to age. As I get around to making their respective pages, links shall become active. Within each page shall be a history of the model, a brief diagnostic of the specific unit, and a history of its use and repair.

.: WHAT NEWS :.
+-------------------------------------+

This is where site updates shall be announced.

  • 2 April 2015 - UPDATE
Get ready for several massive updates to the site. After several years of utter stagnation, even upon moving this site to my new webspace at gradyowens.us, I've decided I really need to get this thing back up and running again. In addition to several new machines, several old machines have also been updated and upgraded.
  • 8 July 2009 - New Acquisitions
A few weeks ago was this year's New Mexico Tech property yard auction; if you've been paying attention, you know this is where I usually acquire some of my more interesting hardware. This year was no exception - several new Sun pieces, a few SGI boxes, and even an Alpha server made up the bulk of my purchases. As I seem to be updating this thing at a crawl, those pages won't be added for a while; however, their allotments will be added to the Control Panel menu.
  • 27 June 2008 - Baphijmm's Center for Retrocomputing opens
The site was conceived, designed, and hosted on this day. Hopefully, we shall remember to make regular updates to keep that one creepy guy reading this happy. That's right, guy. I'm talking about you.

.: WHO AM I :.
+-------------------------------------+

Baphijmm is currently a telescope and computer technician with New Mexico Skies in Mayhill, New Mexico. He presently lives in a small dwelling outside the city of Cloudcroft with his cat and collection of old computers. He intends to graduate eventually with a Bachelor's of Science in Astrophysics and a Minor in Mathematics, though his experience at the observatory might prove more useful.

His primary computer, AdamMalkovich, is an AMD FX machine he built himself. Currently it runs LinuxMint 17 using FluxBox.
